4Course Objectives

This three-day workshop in Banff has been specially designed so that visiting plastic surgeons can learn more – and leave with the confidence that cannot come from a one-hour teaching course alone. Plastic surgeons will have the tools to achieve good, consistent, predictable results when they go home.

This workshop covers the principles of aesthetic breast surgery along with the practical applications in breast reduction, mastopexy, mastopexy-augmentation, augmentation and breast re-reduction. We cover the latest techniques in labiaplasty and proven results in drainless abdominoplasties with an almost zero seroma rate. We have live models for marking purposes each day along with photographs to practice on (and the original markings and results that were achieved on those same patients). There will be videos for teaching and these will be available to attendees for use at home. The workshop is in Banff, which is located in the beautiful Canadian Rocky Mountains and is limited to 15 attendees so that there is more personalized learning and lots of discussions. The workshop includes two receptions, breakfast and lunch each day, and one full restaurant dinner and take out “in town”.

Here visitors can experience the best of both worlds: the peace and solitude of a quiet location, yet quick access to a livelier scene in downtown Banff. They have 211 spacious guest rooms or suites and enjoy the fresh alpine air and exceptional views of the surrounding mountain scenes from your private balcony. With amenities, such as an indoor pool, eucalyptus-infused steam room, exercise facilities and whirlpool. We have a block of rooms at the Banff Park Lodge as well as The Peaks Hotel (directly across the street)
